Curious as to what’s in my bag for Ragnar, an overnight relay that’s over 200 miles? Come check out what’s in mine so you’re prepared to pack yours!
HOW DOES RAGNAR RELAY NIAGARA WORK?
There are two vans for Ragnar Relay Niagara if you are not doing it ultra style. For us, we have 6 to a van plus a driver for Van 1 and Van 2. How it works is Van 1 starts and we relay our way through exchanges until we’ve all ran once. Once we’re all done a leg, we meet up with Van 2 and hand off to them. Rinse and repeat 3 times until we end up from Cobourg to Niagara.
What Am I Packing for Ragnar Niagara?
Tops | the weather is a little unpredictable so I’m going to toss a tank in my bag just in case it’s too hot. I usually prefer t-shirts as my shoulders burn easily!
- one tank
- three tees
Bottoms | I struggled with this one – I have three pairs in the photo but in a last minute panic, I threw in an additional pair.
- 2 pairs of shorts
- 2 pairs of capris (night time legs can get chilly!)
- Floatrides from Reebok
- Slippers between the legs
Others | I’m a bit of an obsessive over packer so here’s what else that’s in my bag
- 4 pairs of underwear
- 3 sports bras
- 5 pairs of socks
- lotion/sunscreen/face wash
- hair ties
- portable charger
What my teammates are bringing | because they’re amazing people who are great at sharing
- more snacks
- more hair ties
- their ability to drive because hi my G1 expired lol
- baby wipes
- reflective vests
Whew, I think that’s everything? I somehow managed to fit everything into one bag so I’m pretty impressed with myself LOL.
Thanks to Reebok for providing us with the clothes pictured above! I can’t wait to run Ragnar again! Fingers crossed for good weather.
